The newest addition to The Grove at Wesley Chapel will check in at 148,500 square feet, larger than your typical Target.
WESLEY CHAPEL — Almost three years to the day since officials first met with Pasco planners about bringing a Target to The Grove at Wesley Chapel, the doors at the massive store are ready to swing open.
On Oct. 12, the long-awaited Target on Oakley Boulevard will hold its grand opening.
The newest addition to the shopping/grocery scene in Wesley Chapel will check in at 148,500 square feet, larger than your typical Target. While the Super Target branding is no longer used by the Minneapolis-based retailer, the newer Target stores have updated modern designs and are roughly 15% larger than their typical stores.
It will be Wesley Chapel’s second Target, joining the original on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and County Line Road, which was the Tampa Bay region’s first Super Target when it opened in 2001.
